Has anyone ever heard of the “Blood type” diet?

I am a vegan and eat no animal products at all. I found this book by Dr. D 'Adamo about the food based on your type of soul. I am a type O so I need the animal protein and the need to limit my carbohidrates to stay healthy and the measure. (based on the kind of soul diet) does anyone else read the book, or tried this diet? Think that you are a healthy lifestyle or just another diet of fashion? The soul actually has something to do with the sense that metabolized and digested the food?

I’ve heard about it, but I think it’s just a fad diet. Blood may have a little bit to do with metabolism, but ultimately, you need to find what works best for you. If you are a vegan, and you should eat meat according to the blood type theory, but you are healthy right now, then what difference does it make whether you’re a vegan or following the blood type diet.
