I'm counting calories but I like using yogurt, for example, losing weight help? As dairy help him to unfasten the weight? well, if you only eat one food group you’ll definately loose weight from being terribly sick and depressed, so its best to eat from all you major food groups in moderation and get regular excercise

dairy will not help you lose fat.. if you chose low fat dairy, like skim milk or non fat yoghurt however, it’s healthy and it contains protein which will help you build muscle ( if you do any form of strength training). Some dairy products has calcium which will also help with bone density so you will have stronger bones and that will benefit you when you get older. But weight loss, you have to eat a balanced diet and exercise, no food product or pill will help you get there.. it’s your will and motivation.

I am not for sure how this works. But I do know that drinking pop even if it is diet takes calcium out of your body. That is why people should avoid pop. I also know that pop also takes water out of your body and water speeds up you metabolism. I am very curious what is going to happen when these people who drink a lot of pop, if they will have bone problems such as osteoporosis when they are older.

Those who eat both a low-calorie diet and low-fat or non-fat dairy products experience twice the weight loss of those who only eat a low-calorie diet. higher-calcium diets favor burning rather than storing fat. Calcium changes the efficiency of weight loss. So how/why do dairy foods help you lose more weight and burn more fat? Becuase the mix of nutrients found in dairy foods, especially calcium, may be responsible for helping the body break down and burn fat. apparently dairy foods exert a significantly greater effect on body weight and fat loss than calcium supplements. If I recall correctly, the proteins in dairy may explain the greater weight and fat loss when dairy is included in a reduced-calorie diet.

dairy DOESNT help you lose weight at all, actually. If anything you should try to AVOID dairy if you are dieting. There is alot of fat in milk and cheese products.

There are a few studies that showed people who ate a lot of dairy lost more weight, but apparently most studies don’t find the effect.

Christina P get your facts straight. Average full fat milk contains between 3 and 3.5% fat, by my reckoning that 97% fat free…
I admit cheese and butter are high but you can get really healthy options for those too!

You should consume low fat dairy like yogurt and skim milk because the calcium is good for your body. The studies saying that it will help you lose weight though were advertised by the dairy commission so I would take it with a grain of salt. Yogurt is a healthy low fat snack, but it won’t speed up your metabolism.

You need dairy in your diet because it is full of calcium, and the calcium is need to help break down fat. I have read that they did a survey with 700 women half of them at the recommended amount of dairy and the other half didn’t. They had the same calories everyday. The group that ate the calcium lost weight, when the group that didn’t actually gained weight. If you don’t like dairy then you can take calcium supplements with vitamin D. You need 1000 iu of calcium a day. So, dairy is one of those five foods you need in your diet everyday. And infact the other four are good for losing weight to. They are Dark leafy green veggies and lots of veggies, fruits, Handfull of seeds or nuts, Whole grains, and green tea or black tea. The diet ive been on Ive lost 8 pounds in 25 days. And I eat lots of dairy.
