burn fat
Jimmy Callard asked:

Weight 170 pounds. Consumption 1800 calories a day and about a 170g 's of protein daily. Lift 4 days a week and do great HIIT cardio for about 10 minutes after each workout of weight lifting. The fifth day, the day of rest, I make about 20-30 minutes HIIT. At this rate, what kind of results look long term? Burn fat or muscle guadagnerò or both?

its difficult because to burn fat you need to be at a caloric deficit, to build muscle you need to have a caloric surplus…

No, no, no, no, not possible at all. To put on muscle mass you require more calories than you can burn, and to reduce bodyfat you require less calories than you can burn. Those are absolute requirements, hence, you can never do both at the same time.

With your caloric intake and by doing cardio you are just going to reduce bodyfat. If you want to put on muscle mass you need to avoid cardio completely for a while, and increase your caloric intake to about 4,000+ calories.

Congrads to that life style!! I think that you would lose weight and gain muscle because you have lots of protein and work out.
